Hello and welcome to the home of Dr Leo James Ltd.

I suspect that you, like me, enjoy pushing the boundaries of science and collaborating with colleagues to find innovative solutions to problems.  We share a firm commitment to high standards, ethical behaviour and putting patients first.  Oftentimes, the ‘fun’ of what we do lies in applying these principles in the face of pressures arising from timelines, budgets and management expectations.

I relish seizing challenges and applying my experience to find simple, elegant and effective solutions in drug discovery, development and commercialisation.  I find that an open, collaborative approach, where there are no sacred individuals or cows, works best to achieve this.  I am equally at home providing leadership, guiding or teaching and learning from others, regardless of their experience or seniority.  I have been in the industry since 2002 and working as an independent consultant since 2017.

If all this sounds like pompous twaddle, rest assured that although I take the job seriously, I don’t take myself too seriously.  We are, after all, meant to be enjoying this…
